Our online store invites you to buy Goods from us. When payment has been received in full from you then, a legally binding contract with you will only arise with meritblinds.co.uk trading as Merit Blinds. We shall notify you of acceptance of your order by email.

Measurements

As the blinds which you order are manufactured according to the measurements you provide in your order, it is very important that your measurements are accurate. Please ensure you double- check your measurements before submitting your order, as we will not accept returned goods if measured incorrectly. All measurements must be in millimetres.

Placing Your Order

Please also check the options made on your order. We are unable to accept responsibility for wrong choice selection as they are often difficult to change once blind have gone into production and have been made.

If you wish to purchase a blind, when paying for your blinds, please enter your card details carefully and double check your entries.

Warranty

Each product comes with a 12 months warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to any defect caused by improper installation, alteration, abuse, misuse or exposure to excess moisture. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, such as the natural deterioration of fabric and changes in colour that take place over time.

Delivery

The delivery times given on our eshop are required on our quotes. Please note that if we specify 10 days it means 10 working days from the moment payment reaches our bank account (within 24 hours). We only deliver throughout the UK.

All deliveries must be signed for. If on receipt of your blinds you notice that the box/es is/are damaged, then please draw this with the courier attention and signed DAMAGED. This is very important in assisting us with claims against the courier. Please note we are unable to claim for damaged goods if you ask the carrier to leave your parcel in another location without a signature. If the goods are damaged in this instance then would not be able to remake your blind/s free of charge.

All of our blinds are made to measure and we would need time to make them and deliver. The specified delivery terms do not apply during busy times of the year such as, Bank Holidays, Christmas and Easter.

The made to measure blinds are made according to your sizes and therefore cannot be resold and you must agree before buying that the Distance Selling Regulations cannot apply to our sales agreement.

Redelivery charge:

If the courier has tried to deliver your order and has been unable to do so, a card will be left a card or a message on the phone. Arrangements for redelivery will be made. If, the customer has not contacted the courier in order to arrange a convenient time for delivery we will apply a £10.00 redelivery charge

We may refuse to accept an order:
(a) Where goods are not available;
(b) Where the customer fails to enter their full address and post code that can be verified by their bank.
(c) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(d) If there has been a pricing or product description error;
(e) If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions ;
(f) We have insufficient stock to make and deliver the goods ordered;
(g) If you have ordered from a County, Island or Country where we do not deliver to;
(h) The goods ordered unknown to us have suddenly been discontinued.

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver ordered goods for any delay caused by events or circumstance beyond our control, including strikes, disputes, system breakdown, network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident. Our prices maybe subject change without notice.

Refunds on duplicate payments (Where the customer clicks refresh on the final payment screen or clicks the 'checkout' button more than once) will be refunded minus 5% to cover our credit card processing costs.
