Pleated blinds were used primarily as conservatory blinds. However with the improvements in production techniques and type of fabric choice, they can be used not only as conservatory blinds, but they can be used a a window treatment in other parts of the home.

A pleated blind will provides a soft shading effect and are available in a wide choice of fabrics. Very light, they are easy to raise & lower. They can provide shade in the roof with side guided wires making them easy to adjust. The blinds are very practical in controlling, temperature and providing privacy. We have just updated our selection in the number of pleated blinds we are able to offer our customers. We have made an effort to include the fabric properties so that you are able to select the correct fabric and colour to suit your needs. All brackets on our pleated blinds are colour coordinated with the head and bottom rails.Customers can obtain a quote online and place their order.

Merit Blinds has Blackout Pleated Blinds that include Orillia Splash, Canyon Mullberry Grape, Ornage, Turquoise, Dreams Nightshade and Valencia Apple Green, Pale Biscuit, Pearl White and Persian Rose.

If you need Pleated Blinds that are also solar reflective as well as being made from a blackout fabric, we offer Somnio Ivory and Somnio Black Pleated blinds.

If you need a fire retardant and solar reflective blind then we recommend our Clarion FR range, which comes in Honey,Opal, Raspberry,Red and Royal. Marcello Charcoal,Marcello Clementine, Marcello Cool Water,Marcello Ghost White, Marcello Golden Sand, Marcello Old Lace, Marcello Silver Grey and Marcello Wheat also combine solar reflective and fire retardant properties.

The Duette Fixé Duotone Pleated Blinds and Duette Fixé Blackout Pleated Blinds

They are constructed with a double walled honeycombe which allows pockets of air giving them energy saving pleated blinds properties.

They have a potential in reducing heat loss of up to 34% which is useful during the winter months. The Duette Fixé range can also reduce heat gain during the summer months thereby keeping a conservatory cool during the summer months. They are our luxury pleated blind and cost more than a standard pleated blinds.

If a VS1 blind is selected then the child safety feature is built in.

All these blinds are moisture resistant and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Our blackout fabrics in this range include, Bone Duette, Cerise Duette, Charcoal Duette, Ivory Duette, Lime Duette, Mustard Duette, Royal Duette, Sunshine Duette and White Duette. These blackout pleated blinds don’t have holes which permit the light to come through as many other pleated blinds.

The Duette Fixé Pleated Blinds are an ideal choice for conservatories as they help keep the conservatory cool in summer and warm in the winter.

Free hanging blinds, pre-tensioned blinds as well as skylight pleated roof blinds are sold online as measuring for shaped blinds requires a specialist.

Our VS1 Blinds –Pre-tensioned- Suitable for Tilt and turn windows. No Bottom Rail
VS1 BR Blinds - Pre-tensioned come with a bottom rail.

VS1,and VS1-BR - All these blinds have the push and pull safety features built into them and are ideal for child’s bedroom. The cords are attached to the window sill and the blind is raised and lowered with or without a handle. The blind can be stopped at any position.

Free Hanging Pleated Blinds

F1 Blinds can be made from any fabric offered on the site.

In addition, we now offer free hanging Unipleat Blinds. These fabrics come from Eclipse Blinds.

PL11-Skylight Rectangular Roof Blinds

We have added The Unipleate roof blind from Eclipse Blinds online. This are identified with Ecl in the description.

SRC- Solar Reflective Coating

We sell pleated skylight blinds online which are offered on our rectangular roof blind section. These skylight roof blinds are pre-tensioned and pulled up and down with a small handle in the middle. The cords are always visible when the blinds are open.

The Duette Fixé Pleated Blinds

Are honeycombe shaped which are energy efficient.

To ensure correct fit always measure the window in several places, and use the narrowest measurement for ordering.

The width and height in either recess or blind size is all that is required to order these types of blinds.

In order to ensure that your blinds are fitted correctly, we offer various bracket options.
All of them are now sent out with your blinds.
