No other blind controls the amount of light entering a room a Venetian blind. For a modern look, Venetians Blinds are a great choice. But, they also work well in traditional settings and are often used in conservatories. You can use them to block out any unwanted views or you can choose to allow some light through by selecting a perforated slats.

In addition they are made from aluminium slats, some are made to look like wood whilst our perforated blinds provide some sun screening. You can adjust the amount of light and air that come into a room by controlling the tilt of the slats and the horizontal position of the Venetian blind. Cords are used to pull up the blinds or lower them. Tilt control is achieved with a transparent mechanism with a transparent acrylic uniwand and geared tilter. The controls can be located on either side of the blind, together and at either end. The cords and headrail are often colour matched to the colour chosen in most cases. If this is not possible , then a complimentary colour is selected.

Blinds can be cleaned with a slat cleaning brush or a feather duster. Alternatively, you can have them cleaned using the ultrasonic blind cleaner which will not only clean but lubricate the blind parts that operate the blind.

There are choices in the type of slat sizes from 16mm, 25mm, 3mm and50mm. Some allow light through as in our perforated selection. These blinds come from the Hunter Douglas aluminium slats. They will be made to your exact requirements and can be fitted within a recess of your window or outside the recess. They can be combined with curtains in a traditional interior. Large slats can be teamed up with lined or interlined curtains. If the blinds required cover a wide area, it maybe advisable to increase the number of blinds across the window as one large on could be difficult to hang up. A good fixture is always required to provide you with years of reliable service. Design you custom made Venetian Blinds, obtain an instant quote and buy securely from our online shop for your home or office windows.

If cost is not an issue why not just add side curtains to soften the hard lines.
